This policy explains how Black Cat Technologies handles information when you visit blackcattech.com or contact us through this website. For privacy questions, contact [email protected].
Information you choose to provide
Our contact form asks for your name, email address, an optional organization name, the subject of your inquiry, and your message. If you email us directly, we receive your email address and whatever you include in the message. Please do not send passwords, payment-card information, or other sensitive information through the contact form.
How we use your information
We use inquiry information to respond, discuss the services you requested, and maintain correspondence about your question or project. We also use technical information to operate the website, prevent spam and abuse, and investigate problems. Sending an inquiry does not subscribe you to a marketing mailing list.
Website hosting and spam prevention
Cloudflare hosts and delivers this website. Its systems may process technical information such as your IP address, requested pages, browser and device information, and security events. The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to help distinguish visitors from automated traffic. Turnstile processes browser and device signals for this security check.
Read Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy and its Turnstile Privacy Addendum for details.
Contact-form delivery and email
We use SMTP2GO to deliver contact-form messages. Your submitted details and message pass through that service to reach our inbox. Email may also be processed by our mail server and Google’s email services when it is forwarded, read, or answered. These providers may process message content and delivery information to provide and protect their services.
See SMTP2GO’s Privacy Policy and Google’s Privacy Policy.
Google Analytics
Google Analytics is our selected service for understanding how visitors find and use this website. We are preparing to enable it; the Analytics tracking tag is not yet installed. When enabled, it may collect information about pages viewed, interactions, referring websites, approximate location, and browser and device characteristics. It may use first-party cookies or similar identifiers to distinguish visits and produce usage reports.
Google processes this information to provide the analytics service. We use these reports to improve the website and its articles. Contact-form names, email addresses, and message contents are not intended to be sent to Analytics. We will update this notice and provide any necessary privacy choices when Analytics is enabled.
Read how Google uses information from sites that use its services. Google also offers an Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Cookies and similar technology
This website does not currently include advertising pixels. Google Analytics may use cookies when enabled, as described above. Cloudflare’s delivery and security services, including Turnstile, may use cookies or similar browser technologies where needed for security and abuse prevention. The client portal and other linked services may use their own cookies and have separate privacy practices.
Sharing and service providers
Website inquiry information is used to handle your request, rather than for advertising profiles. The service providers described above process information as part of hosting, security, email delivery, and analytics when enabled. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or needed to address abuse or protect our services. Providers may process information in countries other than your own.
Retention and security
We retain correspondence as needed to respond to inquiries, manage ongoing work, and meet applicable recordkeeping needs. Service providers may retain their own delivery or security records under their policies. We use HTTPS for this website and restrict access to our systems, but no website or email system can guarantee absolute security.
Your questions and requests
Email [email protected] if you would like to ask about, correct, or request deletion of information you have provided. We will review your request, may need to verify your identity, and will explain any records we need to retain or other limits that apply.
Client services and external links
This policy covers the public website and its inquiry form. Client accounts, billing, payments, and information handled while providing hosting or other services may be subject to additional terms and privacy information. When you follow an external link, the destination’s privacy practices apply.
Changes to this policy
We may update this page as the website or its services change. The date above identifies the latest revision.
